Look What I Did

I might have mentioned in passing, once or twice, about my replacement cell phone arriving and my anticipation of its arrival.  What I didn’t mention is that it is a smart phone.  I needed a smart phone because I spend a lot of time running around (chasing my tail).  The smart phone allows me to keep track of my email while I am meeting with clients volunteering at the girls’ schools.  While I had a business reason for getting the smart phone, I discovered that I really like the apps.  The iPhone made apps famous.  They are little programs that allow smart phones to do cool things.  While there are hundreds of thousands of apps you can buy, I am cheap frugal prudent.  I like the free apps.  There are a ton of free apps and games that can be added to my phone.

One of my favorite apps is my FX Camera.  It allows my camera phone to take photos with certain effects.  Now some of the effects make absolutely no sense, but the mirror one is cool.  I took this photo of Hamlet.

And it only required one dog to take the photo.

Since I want to get another cat, I took this photo to show Small Town Daddy how easy another cat would be.

Doesn’t that make you want another cat?

For full disclosure, I was never contacted by the app maker and I may have gotten the name of the app wrong (but I am sure it is close).  I didn’t pay for the app but that’s because it is free so you don’t have to pay for it either.

That’s cool with the pets and money–just don’t do that with the kids. That’s the last thing we need, more kids. :)

Very cool. Let me know how that second cat goes with Small Town Daddy. I know my husband wouldn’t go for it. I wish I had a phone that had cool apps.

Lin, we are set with kids although I would like another cat.
Elle, we already have 2, I am just hoping for a third.

Wow! Those pix are great! I am so surprised that a cell phone could take such great pictures, but then the flash is broken on my cell, so maybe that’s why my pictures always turn out crummy. Anyway, I’m glad you’re enjoying your new phone, and thank you for always visiting and leaving such wonderful and thought-provoking comments on my site.

Very cool indeed. I just got a new phone too. Not a smart phone, just a plain old dumb one LOL. It is cool though with the slide out keyboard so I can text and not take ten years to do it. Very Cool!

I looked at the Droid Smartphone when we went to Verizon just the other day (and oooooh I wish I wish!) Couldn’t quite justify the added monthly fee, but I’ll work on my justification it for next time :o ) I ended up with a Samsung Touchphone and love it. Have fun playing with your new toy!

I am disgusted that your phone takes better pictures than my camera does.

I am off to complain to my husband POST HASTE.

Don’t take double pictures of your kids or husband, the thought of having 4 kids and 2 husbands might be enough to strike you dead.

To answer your question “Doesn’t that make you want another cat?”

NO! In fact, do you want two cats? I’m going broke feeding them!

Hey I did that once, except I didn’t have a cell phone. Or a camera. But there were 6 cats and 4 dogs in my house! Pretty cool.
