The ladies over at Blue Monkey Butt started What the Hell Wednesday to give me a chance to complain about anything that has been bothering me lately. So here is what is bugging me. Yesterday, I waited all day at home for my phone to arrive. The insurance company told me that someone needed to be here to sign for it, so I didn’t leave the house all day. The phone finally arrived at 7:30 pm. And I didn’t have to sign anything. WTH? There was no reason I had to wait for the UPS guy all day. The spammers latest technique is starting to really tick me off. They send me emails, pretending that it was accidentally sent to the wrong person. WTH? Am I more likely to buy Viagra if I think you meant to send the link to a friend and sent it to me accidentally? And if you actually send it to me, I am no more likely to buy Viagra if you address me by name. No matter how much I try, I can’t find anything to complain about with my cell phone company. While the insurance company sucked, the cell phone company has been quite helpful (although they wouldn’t trace my phone the way they do on CSI). When my phone disappeared, they automatically canceled my data service so I didn’t have to pay for it when I had no phone. They activated my old phone and then activated my new phone without any problems or charges. WTH? I am supposed to be able to bitch about my cell phone company. Isn’t that a right of passage? That is it for me. Things are pretty happy here in the Small Town. The holidays are coming and I have been so busy that I haven’t been able to spend any time with anyone who is annoying. Doesn’t it suck when people say you need to wait around to sign for something then you actually don’t have to. I feel your pain.
OMG you asked for it so here goes…
I am pissed that I went to Wal-Mart on Saturday evening to find out what time the $299 laptops were going on sale for Sunday. I was told 8am, and that I should probably come up to the store at around 5 am to get in line. Or call first to see what’s happening. Well, at 5am the phone lines were all jacked up so I packed up myself and my 3-week-old baby to go to Wal-Mart, only to find out that they put them on sale at midnight the night before. JACK ASSES.
I have more but I really need to be less angry. I’m trying, at least.
I would suggest that waiting all day and part of the evening for the UPS guy and then not needing to sign anything qualifies as a WTF!

Really waiting all day is pretty annoying. At least you have your phone and your pone company is helpful. That counts for something.

Doesn’t it feel weird to not have much to complain about. I always feel so out of sorts and not quite right. And then when something happens and I get pissed, I can write about it and all is right with the world again

How about my cards all arriving with a scratch and they tell me they will be reprinted and when I called today they tell me no one ever sent the order for a reprint…well i got a full refund but now have 200 not so perfect cards.
Oh Jeez, I’m having a WTH moment right now. My neighbors are having a party on a friggin Wednesday, there is a congregation of screaming kids in the street right now, while paunchy middle aged men loiter on the front lawn drinking beer. WTH? Seriously. A Wednesday! It’s not Christmas eve yet, people.
