Primary in the Small Town

datePosted on 12:46, April 26th, 2016 by Small Town Mommy

Today is primary day in the Small Town. This is very exciting for me. First of all, I have never voted in a primary. I was always an unaffiliated voter so wasn’t allowed to vote in the primary.

The week leading up to the primary has been awesome. We have actually had political ads running on television. I know most of you are used to that and find them tiresome but nobody cares about the Small Town. We never get political ads.

It’s nice to know that somebody cares about the opinions in the Small Town. I have to go vote now.

I’ve had it. Our primary isn’t until 6/6 and I’ve had it. It feels like they’ve been running since 1996

Well…first…so glad you are back blogging!! Hooray!

Second…I am so done with politics. I can’t hear, read, or watch any of it anymore.

I hate politics and try to avoid hearing, watching, and talking about politics as much as possible. This year it’s been really difficult to ignore it all but I’m trying. I vote, but don’t enjoy everything that leads up to the primaries and the election.
