Too Busy in the Small Town: What the Hell!?!

datePosted on 10:19, January 9th, 2013 by Small Town Mommy

On Wednesdays we join the ladies from Blue Monkey Butt with What the Hell Wednesday.  This is the opportunity to share some of the things that are driving us crazy.

This week is absolutely insane.  I am organizing the 8th grade Snowball dance and my whole life has become work and the dance.  I’m not even in 8th grade.  Why should it be so consuming?  WTH!?!

Of course, that also gives me less time to be annoyed with things.  How am I supposed to do a scintillating post when I have nothing to complain about?  WTH!?!

I don’t even have time to read the new book from my favorite author.  While I haven’t had a lot of time to read, I have stolen a few moment here and there (what, a girl’s gotta pee).  Have you ever just wanted to take a day and read while forgetting about the rest of the world?  WTH!?!

The worst part is Oreo feels completely neglected.  I don’t have enough time to tell him how fabulous he is.  I know, how could I neglect such a cutie?  WTH!?!

Didn’t they cancel the big Snowball dance last year?? Sorry you have snowball on the brain. Yes, I have wanted to take a day to myself and not worry about everything. Not sure if that will ever happen. Thanks for joining us. We’re a little late today!

How does Oreo make his displeasure known? I do it by jumping on my human’s desk and slapping her in the face, so I am pretty hard to ignore.

Poor Oreo! Didn’t you do the Snowball Dance thing last year too? I think you like torture. I have noticed, however, that you have time to kick my you know what in Words With Friends. Must be while you are taking your pee break, LOL! You would think you would be distracted to come up with such awesome words. Oh well, I only get better the more I play. Unfortunately for me I do get distracted very easy and I pick the first word I see I can make. LOL!

You lost me when you mentioned a good book. Details! I need details! I desperately need something to lose myself in. Oh yeah, and Hi Oreo, you’re adorable.

Well, all of that work on the Snowball dance is appreciated, believe it or not.

I found the best way to get through all those books I want to read…I had surgery a few years ago. seriously. I was bed-ridden (or couch-ridden) for weeks and all I did was read. It was great. I would KILL for a few days on the couch just reading. Is that allowed???? Sigh.
