Laundry, Shopping and Work: What the Hell!?!Hey, look at that, it’s Wednesday. Since things are finally back to normal (with electricity and all that), I am joining the ladies of Blue Monkey Butt for What the Hell Wednesday. This is the opportunity to tell you some of the things that are driving me mad. Last Wednesday, I told you about my laundry. Guess what, it’s still here, WTH!?! Some people suggested I try taking it all to the laundromat but that would require leaving my house. Since I don’t like to leave the house, that’s not an option. Besides, taking my kids to the laundromat is the 10th circle of hell. I think part of the problem is that I finish a load and these people I live with just make more. I can never reach the end. Of course, things get back to normal around here just as the holiday season begins, WTH!?! Fortunately, I have nearly finished my Christmas shopping. I have a few additional gifts to get but the bulk of the shopping is done. I love finishing before Thanksgiving. It gets me into the holiday spirit (how can I have the holiday spirit when a trip to the mall is looming). It’s a good thing I have my shopping done because work has gotten really busy, WTH!?! Most people are slowing down to celebrate the holidays but I am speeding up. While I am always happy to be busy, I wish it would spread year around. So have you finished all your holiday shopping or have you avoided starting? Both are viable options and I have tried each. For me, finishing early works. Does it work for you?

“Besides, taking my kids to the laundromat is the 10th circle of hell”
AHahahhhahahah!
And no – I haven’t even begun THINKING about holiday shopping!
I haven’t started my shopping yet but I don’t have much to do any more. both kids approve of money in lieu of material things which makes it real easy.
I’m actually ahead of the curve this year and have 2 peoples gifts done. Usually I’m a last minute gift card shopper because I despise shopping or going to the mall.
I don’t buy gifts, I get gifts. It’s good to be a goat
I used to buy and wrap it all before Thanksgiving, but now I don’t have much to buy so I do it later. I’m doing a lot online because I hate the stores so much this time of year.
Why don’t you have the girls do a load or two doing the week. Kids can do jeans or darks without ruining them. The key to laundry is doing at least one load a day.
glad to know things are back to normal, I am so way behind holiday shopping, and to think I am visiting home (Philippines ) these holidays, and am not so ready for the trip yet in terms of gifts
Yes. I’ve done some but I’m far from finished. Same goes for my laundry.
I’ve barely started with our Christmas shopping and forget about the laundry. It never ends! Thanks for joining us!
