Meow Monday: Asleep in the Small Town

datePosted on 11:35, November 19th, 2012 by Small Town Mommy

Here in the Small Town, Mondays are all about Oreo with Meow Monday.  This is Oreo’s opportunity to share the going ons in his life.

It’s hard work being Oreo.  He’s a hunter.  He keeps the house free of mice.  He’s an athlete.  He works out with the cat toys.  He’s a gourmand.  He eats (often).

Because it’s so hard being Oreo, he’s tired today.  We tried to get him to pose but he just wasn’t into it.

He was too tired.

So he went to sleep.

What is your solution when you are that tired?

If I am not in the mood to model, I have to leave. Sleeping does not work around here.

I miss Meow Mondays! It seems like either I missed some, or you weren’t doing them. When I am that tired, I am with Oreo, I go to sleep.

when you’re that tired there’s no point in fighting it you just got to give in and go with it

I bask, I sleep, I nap, I bask some more. It’s hard work being a goat

Depending on where I am I just go to sleep lol If I’m at work, grab a coffee perhaps or just suck it up until I get home where in I know I can then sleep but as soon as I get home I’m wide awake. Never fails.

You can’t hurry a cat who has survived a hurricane. Oreo needs his rest…

I would like to answer that when I’m that tired I go to sleep, that however would be a lie. So, um, I usually work or parent or clean or drive someone some where. Which begs the question, does Oreo drive yet? He should be old enough, no? ;)
