Hair, Fred and Doctors: What the Hell!?!

datePosted on 10:51, August 1st, 2012 by Small Town Mommy

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for What the Hell Wednesday.  It was started by the ladies from Blue Monkey Butt.  Listen to some of the things that are driving me bananas.

I got my hair cut on Monday.  It took 3 hours, WTH!?!  I lost a pound of hair.  I’m still not sure if I like it or not.  I think it will take some getting used to.  When you have a new haircut does it take time for you to get used to it?  What about your family?  My family hates it.

I am sitting her while my 9 year old watches Fred, WTH!?!  Do you know Fred?  If you do, I’m sorry. If not, I’m jealous.  I find Fred one of the most painful things to possibly sit through.

My Libby has been having problems with her shoulder.  I took her to the doctor and the doctor prescribed physical therapy.  We signed her up with multiple appointments.  Then, 10 minutes before her second appointment, the phone rings.  It’s the doctor.  She says she doesn’t want Libby doing therapy until she sees an orthopedist, WTH!?!  Do you know how embarrassing it is to call to cancel 10 minutes before an appointment?  I hope they don’t charge me for the appointment.  It wasn’t my fault I had to cancel.

Well, that’s all for me.  Let me know what is making you say What the Hell this week.

It does take me time to get used to a new haircut. So sorry that your family isn’t so happy with yours. Hopefully it will grow on them.

I hope that you can get to the root of Libby’s shoulder problems. Having to cancel the appt definitely wasn’t your fault. As long as it was more than 24 hours in advance, you shouldn’t get charged.

Yes, unfortunately I know Fred. I find his voice like fingernails on a chalk board. I don’t stay in the same room as Fred. I don’t like to get my hair cut. They always cut more than they are asked to, and then I am despondent for months.

the time it takes me to get used to a new hair cut depends on whether I like it or not.
I don’t know that Fred but my ex’s name was Fred and he was pretty annoying….lol

It is kind of the reverse with me in a slightly different way.

Since I am responsible for my Mom’s everything, I have lamented the fact that no one seems to want to cut her hair as much as it needs to be cut. I wish someone would take the initiative and shape it so it does not stick out on the sides because at age 91, I feel it almost makes her look cartoonish. She likes it longer and they listen!
I do not a thing about Fred and it sounds like that is good.
And Libby’s appointment and shoulder woes: it is always a puzzle with things like that. I hope you do not have to pay or do not have to spend time explaining why you should not pay.
So much to make you feel WTH! Thanks for letting me get the hair issues out. I hope you like yours by now. You have Lesniak hair, too. So thick. So pretty!

It always takes me a while to get used to a new haircut but that’s usually because I wait until I have a lot to cut off and it’s a drastic change.

By the way, I think it looks great!

Fred! Ugh! I hope he’s banking his money because he won’t be on TV for long.
