I am so moved and touched. Your mother saved your child’s life. She left this world as she gave you the greatest gift anyone will ever give to you. I’m going to go call my mom now and tell her how much I love her. Again. You will see YOUR mom again – don’t forget that. In the meantime, she is always with you.

I was very moved by your story, and took a moment to honor your mother, and to reflect on all that my own does for me.
I am glad that your mother got that bit of time with Libby, though it was tragic that they didn’t have more time.

You’ll be in my thoughts today

I don’t recall visiting your blog before and my heart is heavy having read about your lost. Totally understandable not being over the tragedy and not being around. (My father suffered similar injuries as your mom and didn’t survive either.) Try to think about the wonderful memories you have of your mother. God bless you and bring you peace and joy.

    Dear Anne-
My heart breaks for you over the senseless loss of your mother. I cannot even begin to imagine the impact this tragedy has had on your life. I know your parents would be so proud of you and how you managed to survive and move forward in the face of such personal tragedy. They left a tremendous legacy here on this earth in you. Words cannot express the sadness I feel for what you have been through but also the admiration I have for you for not allowing this awful man to destroy you and your family’s life as well. It is my hope that the good memories of your parents bring you some comfort on this heartbreaking anniversary.
