I know what you mean. I usually get excited during the first day or two of snow and then I'm ready for summer again.

Your blog never fails to make me smile:) Thought that I would finally stop by and let you know!
We are cold too, here in Kansas City. Lots of rain, and already so gloomy and grey. No snow yet though. Hopefully it will warm up again for both of us.
Take care

Funny blog.
I also hate snow.
No sympathies for Floridians experiencing 50 degree temps. That is not cold for winter, period.

As someone who spent most of their life in the NorthEast my family and I seriously miss the snow. Even in snowy winters we were usually good with it until about late February (of course we did lots of snow sports which outweighed constant use of the snowblower for the most part.)

I totally agree about the 6 year old. It would have made more sense if he were a teen, they never tell anyone what's really going on.

Anne, I'm up in Ontario and believe me, you will never be jealous of our weather - two months of steam heat, 8 months of brutal cold and tiny slices of spring and fall in there somewhere (if we are lucky). I grew up in Manhattan so am used to the steam heat/cold and slushy variations - sort of.

When I do things like falling over stuff our cat barely stirs, too. She is just so not impressed with me!

I have been reading and enjoying your blog for ages, BTW. And I keep meaning to do Keely's Random Tuesday thing but my Tuesdays, like most days, are almost TOO random. Maybe next week :)

Seriously. If you are going to come up with a complicated plot you must use one of the older children. I thought everyone knew that.

I'm totally joking of course.

All of my posts lately have been about how much I'm hating the weather lately, so I hear ya! Thinking of 6 months of winter is not fun with an 18 month old who was used to being outside all day every day during the summer!

As for that balloon story, it is just crazy to me that parents would actually teach their child to lie. Did you hear/see how the little boy threw up on TWO morning news programs? I feel so bad for him - it's probably all he can do to communicate that he knows he's involved in something wrong.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry as I winced at the thought of you racing the dog and falling. I hope your head feels better soon!

Thank you for the comment on my post today.
