Heh, I have the same thing going on with my closet...I still haven't gone back to check and see what cracked when I stepped on it...obviously it wasn't important. ;)

SyFy? Really? That's definitely lame...

Blogging is definitely a labor of love...I always have to make sure my paid stuff gets done before I blog/play, but I figure since I don't get paid to do the housework, I can let it slide... ;)

Happy RTT a couple days late! :)

Lol about the SyFy channel. What are they thinking? I think they need a new marketing rep.
You still haven't checked to see what cracked in your closet? You better get on that stat. What if it was a tiny kitten or a cockroach. Oh well, it was probably just a hanger.

Your Libby post didn't load in a way I could comment to it. Probably IE. I hate IE.
What a cute baby photo. You know, of course, she will not need you and then when she gets through the teen years she will become your best friend. Patience is now YOUR best friend.

Why oh why would they change it? I'm all too familiar with the Sci Fi channel. Chuck's an AV whiz so he set it to the default channel in our house, which irks me to no end.

I agree, blogging is a labor of love. It takes a lot of work and time. It's just crazy how the media is eating up the death of Michael Jackson. I think it's kind of a sad thing. Anything to make a buck or a story. Thanks for stopping by today Anne. Have a great week.

Hugs

You make it sound like I had altruistic motives in starting this thing, when in fact, I just can't get a coherent post together.

SyFy? Really? Because that...less geeky?

I agree about the Michael Jackson thing. Seriously....how many times can we report he DIED? And that he was an amazing singer/ground breaking, blah, blah, blah. I enjoyed (as much as you can when someone has died) the memorial service yesterday, but did CNN have to cover it ALL DAY AND NIGHT?! Did any soldiers get killed in Iraq or Afghanistan. Did the president from Hondurous ever get to land (did a mommy blogger ever learn how to spell his country's name)? If any of that happened none of us would know. All we know is that Michael Jackson died and his brothers wore one white glove (still don't get the point of that) to his funeral. That's it. Let's hope a life-threatening weapon isn't about to hit us because we will never know....unless Michael Jackson's body is attached to it.

I had to laugh at the part about you stepping on something, hearing a crack, and then backing away without looking. The exact same thing happened to us recently - my husband stepped on something in the dark that made that same noise. I shot up in bed (where I'd been sleeping) and yelled, "What was that?" He answered, "It's fine" and I have yet to look to see what it was because it sure didn't sound fine!

Sara Palin's speech was a joke. I have never in all my life heard a speech that bad. EVER. it made absolutely no sense.

I watched MJ's memorial thinking that I wouldn't cry because I didn't know him. But I did at the end when Paris made her closing remarks. He was the King of Pop, a world icon...but her father.

I like Palin, I hope she didn't shoot herself in the foot. As for Michael, well I still have nothing to say about that.
