I have fallen way behind on awards that have been presented to me by other bloggers.  I am sorry, life just somehow got completely away from me.  I am going to thank everyone who gave me an award and acknowledge the ones I can find right here.  If I have not acknowledged your award, please don’t think it means I don’t love you, it just means I have forgotten.  I am sorry and if you send me a (nice) note, I will remedy my error immediately.

I also received an award from Chica & Pumuckl.  They are 2 awesome cats who live in Germany.  They have given me the Power Blog award.

From Lola at Lola’s Diner, I received the Proximidade Award.

The award states “This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY – nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated.

Did you see that, she said Small Town Mommy was charming.  I think it is probably because she is from Illinois so she is used to Blagojevich and compared to him, anyone is charming, but I am going to take it anyway (it is rare that anyone calls me charming).

Now I am supposed to pass along all of these words, but honestly, I have gotten somewhat confused.  I can’t keep all the rules of all the different awards straight so, if you come by my blog and you see one you haven’t received, please consider it my gift (after all, Valentine’s Day is coming so I want to share the love).

This has brought me up to 2009.  I am hoping to get to any 2009 tags next week (now that I have put it into writing, I have almost guaranteed that I will not do it.
